Father Transforms Hearts and Bodies

One of the smiling pastors from the pastor’s conference hosted me (Pastor Bill) to minister to his group of new believers just a few kilometers outside Rajahmundry on Saturday night. When I arrived, a small group of eager believers greeted me with joy on their faces and I expressed my joy in meeting them and seeing their hunger.

After an honoring introduction by the pastors that attended, I launched into what has become a theme of my sharing in most locations in India – how the Father treasures each one of us and can transform us by His powerful love, if we will receive that love fully with an open heart. I could see the obvious delight in the countenance of so many as I encouraged them in their high position as sons and daughters of a perfect Father, as well as, ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ. I also spoke of the strong tower that they had in Jesus (Proverbs18:10) constructed with bricks of 700 names and titles of Jesus in the Bible.

After my sharing, some of those attending chose to receive the Lord – maybe 7-10 – became new believers (it is a bit hard to tell because more people prayed out than raised their hands). I then sang “Zephaniah 3:17” over the crowd to bless them with the fact that their Father sings with rejoicing over their lives. I could see many responding in the spirit to the song, not just listening naturally.

Finally, I prayed for healing and blessing for the majority of the group because there was quite a variety of ailments and challenges expressed. A heart condition, two women that had daughters not present with seizure problems, a headache, several with body pains, one with leg pain, several with weakness, students needing help with studies and exams, etc. One student received Jesus after I asked if he knew Jesus when he wanted prayer for school. One testified that her headache was gone. One shared that her weakness had received a boost in strength. It was a short season of sharing because of the late hour so I’m sure Father God did more for this humble group of people in the hallway of an old house in India this night.

At the end, I received a soft drink, 2 cookies, and sincere expressions of appreciation from these poor, but caring believers!
