It was our first time to travel to the state of Bahia. We were 3 hours from the nearest airport, and on this day we were another 2 hours back into the mountains, on a very remote road. This was the home of our contact’s family. As night fell, the only building around was a bar attached to someone’s house. All the men, women, and children poured into the tiny bar room as Pastor Mary Pat shared the Good News of a relationship with Jesus. Twenty-five of them prayed to receive Jesus! It was so amazing to see that bar transformed into a church. As we prayed for the sick, physical eyes started getting clearer, hearing started coming back, and healing started to flow into their bodies. King Jesus had truly arrived on the scene!
