Tonight our team is gearing up to attend Som do Ceu (Sound of Heaven), an outreach started by Jessie and Raquel. Jessie and Raquel are missionaries from Brazil, who live at the Iris Center in Machava. Jessie began this outreach with a desire to see local churches and youth throughout the area gather for a … Continue reading
Our team was excited as we piled in the back of a truck and bumbled down the Mozambican dirt roads towards Chihango. We were holding an outreach for two nights in a village where one of the first Iris Ministries churches had been planted in the late 1990´s, and we were praying that God would … Continue reading
As we stepped out of our truck on Sunday morning, we heard many children singing and praising the Lord in the Iris Ministries children center in Zimpeto. As we walked inside, we saw banners raised throughout the church that reflected their heart of worship for the Lord. It was such a joy to see these … Continue reading

Everyone is doing well, and excited to get into … Continue reading
During our first night in Mozambqiue, there was a torrential downpour all night long. Grateful to be inside good lodging, we had not realized that it had not rained in this area of Mozambique for three to four months, being a prophetic sign of God’s outpouring throughout this land.
We arrived in the quiet village of Bilene and began to prepare for our last crusade in Mozambique for the summer. As we set up our sound system and lights, our Mozambican friend Jimmy began to play on the keyboard to bring in people from the village and draw them into praise and worship. After … Continue reading
Our team held a two night crusade in Chokwe, utilizing drama, dance, and puppets in our ministry times. Pastor Jose led a dance competition for the Mozambicans, and many enjoyed this as an expression of worship to God and fellowship with one another. Over the two nights, many people came forward to receive salvation. It … Continue reading
Smiles covered the faces of the children in Chokwe as they spent the day around our campsite, playing games and singing songs with many of the team members. These children live in absolute poverty, and can often be seen playing in the trash that covers much of Chokwe’s fields. Pastor Jose explained that many of … Continue reading
Our team was able to return to Samora this year to hold a two night crusade in this village. Though the area is extremely beautiful-with palm trees scattered throughout the land, a clear river in sight, and stars covering the night sky-the people here are desperate for God’s transforming love. There were many people who … Continue reading
