Family Confererence, Salvation, and Prophetic Words

Wow, what a day! We left the hotel this morning and went to Faridabad where Pastor Bill and Pastor Mary Pat conducted a Family Conference. The pastors and their wives that were in attendance were noticeably touched as our pastors shared about what a godly marriage should look like. They shared from Ephesians 5, where Paul explains that husbands should love their wives as Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for her. They beautifully demonstrated asking each other for forgiveness when they have acted toward one another in a way that is not Christ-like. Those in attendance were took notes, pictures, and videos, sharing how the teachings impacted them. We believe that God broke through religious and cultural mindsets, replacing them with Heaven’s perspective on marriage!

From there, we traversed bumpy roads to pray over a new church that is under construction. Pastor Sunil and his wife shared the incredible testimony of how God gave them a vision of the land, led them to it, and how they prayed diligently until He faithfully provided the funds for them to buy the land and begin construction. Amidst building materials and laborers hard at work, we prayed and worshipped to dedicate the building and declare out what God was showing us that He wants to do there.

We continued on to our next stop, Jeevan Jyoti Church, a predominantly Nepali congregation. This was our third consecutive year visiting, and each time God has shown up in a mighty way! We began the meeting with Lawrence, Troy, and Carly sharing prophetic words for the church, and Pastor Mary Pat followed with a fiery word from the book of Revelation about the encounters that God wants to pour out in this church to draw the people closer to Himself. Four people gave their lives to Jesus and many were touched by the power of the Holy Spirit!

We ended the day with a delicious meal and cherished fellowship at Pastor Rohit’s house with his wife and children. It is a blessing to work with these laid-down servant lovers of Jesus and a honor to be welcomed into their home. Each day, they sacrifice for the Kingdom, as they lead a church together, reaching out to those that don’t know Jesus and encouraging pastors and believers throughout India. Pastor Rohit also travels outside of India, including to Nepal to help with hurricane relief efforts, and to share the Gospel everywhere he goes! Meanwhile, Sharon runs a childcare center that provides an education to children that cannot afford to go to school. We partner with them in heart and in spirit, as we work together to preach the Gospel to all creation!
