One hundred children joined us for a children’s outreach at Emmanuel Church Ministries. The team, with our puppet friends, taught them about salvation, forgiveness, and ‘soaking’ – entering into the Lord’s presence. Our team spoke and sang words of life and affirmation over them as they rested before the Lord. Every child felt the peace of God come, some heard the voice of the Lord, felt His presence, or had visions. One of the young ladies, Camala, saw “a light coming from the sky” and heard from the heavens that she could “leave all her sins in the light and then I will take you to the heavens with this light.” Pastor Mary Pat heard Holy Spirit say that Camala would be a prophetess and encouraged her to write down anything the Lord shows her. Still others testified to seeing many different colors and pictures of the cross. One young man was so overwhelmed by the Lord’s presence that he could hardly speak as tears ran down his cheeks. He shared later that he was keenly aware of the Lord’s holiness and his own struggle with sin. As we closed, a young man was drawn into the church by the presence of God and was asking for prayer. Pastor Devadanam was amazed that this young man had come – they had been consistently inviting him to the church and he had refused their invitations. He ended up renouncing Hinduism and receiving Jesus!
