At the first crusade, I had an opportunity to meet Joe. Drew and I were standing amongst the crowd and I noticed a boy who was standing nearby. I motioned for him to come and I gave him a hug. You could tell that this was not something that he received on a regular basis. So, for the remainder of the crusade- I kept him close to my side and showed him love. Several of the other children indicated that Joe did not have a home or shoes to wear. He came back the second night of the crusade and found me again. I had another opportunity to show the love of Jesus again. That night, I was able to pray for his stomach that was hurting. It was such a blessing from God to show the love of Jesus to Joe and pray for him.
