Not Your Typical Sunday Morning Service – WOW!

Rising early, our team departed Muzemane to return to Nhabete in Inhambane Province. Memories of what God has done there in the past flooded the minds of many team members. Just last year alone, we witnessed many women dance around jovially after they received healings in their backs and legs. In prior years, we have seen snake bites healed and countless individuals renounce witchcraft and come to Jesus in this place.

In support of this move of God, we have been able to contribute to the building of a new church there, and as the bus came to a halt, we were excited to see the new brick structure halfway completed. The pastor was excited when our team purchased another 30 bags of cement to help finish the building.

Sunday service was already underway in their current straw building, and we eagerly joined in their song and dance. Sounds of worship wafted up to the heavenlies as we praised our mighty God together! Pastor Mary Pat gave a message on what it means to be part of the bride of Christ and how we can prepare ourselves as part of this end time generation. The team jumped in to give words of encouragement to some of the church members. A number of them were testifying to the accuracy of the prophetic words.

After that, Carly testified of God healing her stuffy nose during worship and the message which led into a powerful time of healing. Pastor Mary Pat had a word of knowledge regarding pain in the right arm, and amidst the small group gathered, 6 people raised their hands for prayer! We prayed and each one was healed instantly. Then a man came up who had pain in his side. He said that when the pain started, he went to an herbalist who gave him a potion to drink, and ever since, it felt like something was moving inside of him and the pain affected different parts of his body. Jordan prayed for healing and freedom for him, and afterwards he said the pain had lessened. Praise God! We spent the rest of the day playing with the kids and spending time with the people there. We know God will continue to move powerfully in this special village, and we are excited to see further growth!
